In April I had a chance to speak with Mariana, Tila and Chinamayee from Wikimedia Foundation’s Advancement Team (Gender Organizing).

Excited to be participating in a panel discussion as part of Creative Commons’ 25th anniversary celebrations, ‘Legacy & History of Open Culture’ on 16 June at 3pm UTC.
In this panel, we will be sharing more about how a set of principled ideas about access, sharing, and collaboration grew into a global movement. I will be joined by Merete Sanderhoff (SMK Denmark), Giovanna Fontelle (Wikimedia Foundation) and Dr. Andrea Wallace (GLAM-E Lab) in discussing our experiences as part of this early movement, and some of the lessons we’ve learned along the way.
